Uma manufacturing has worked every inch to become a force to reckon with in the field of manufacturing Flexible Packaging materials. We are poised to take a giant stride into the future of Packaging world by updating ourselves with latest technology/machinery available. Today, our company is geared with sophisticated plant and machinery, employing state of the art technology and specializing in multi-faceted packaging activities including printing, lamination, pouch packaging and other areas of flexible packaging.

Today, Uma manufactured packaging materials are used by wide range of industries for their multifarious packaging functions. Primary among them are packaging of tea, confectionery, milk & milk products, snacks, pharmaceutical products, biscuits, coffee, instant food items, oil, sea food, cosmetic, cigarettes and tobacco etc.

Keeping in tune with the times, Uma Converter has opted in favor of employing the latest and sophisticated technology for converting flexible plastic packaging materials for the industries to pack their products. The company has set-up a modern plant at Ahmedabad, Village Santej, Gujarat (India) having total land 55000 sq. yard with constructed area of over 100000 sq. ft. for manufacturing of multi layer flexible plastic packaging materials.

Our unit is well equipped with Ultra - modern machineries to make flexible food packaging materials. We have following machines in our plant:

1. 8 & 9 colour Rotogravure prinniting machine (3 Nos.) with Auto Registration (TAIYO & Eltromate) and Web Video.
2. T-Die Extrusion Lamination
3. High Speed Solvent base Lamination machines (2 Nos.)
4. Nordmeccanica, Italy, Solvent less Lamination machine
5. Doctoring Rewinding Machine
6. Slitters
7. Pouching Machines
8. Standing & Zip Lock Pouching

We have latest and Automatic Pouching machines to keep quality and delivery commitment of the customers. We make different types of pouches like Centreseal, Side seal, standy, zipper and off shape pouches. Moreover our company's technical personnel are highly skilled, wo keep abreast of the latest in technical innovation.

Our Research & Development Department:
1. At our R&D center all latest testing equipment are used by skilled technicians with proper documentation under strict internal control.
2. We are capable to give proper shape to your packaging needs.
3. We have our own independent designing & creation studio, where customer comes with an estimate and we give proper packaged shape to their product.
4. Our studio is equipped with all latest designing software, hardware, scanners etc. to make it a one stop service center for all packaging needs.
We have facility to develop samples, package sizing & filling solutions.
Our technicians also recommend material mixtures to get best barrier properties and quality to get better shelf life of the products with unique pouch structures.

Each manufacturing process is subject to necessary quality Control Check to produce QUALITY OUTPUT. Our well equipped Laboratory is manned by qualified and experienced team to conduct various QImpact, Tensile Strength , Bond Strength, Seal Strength, Drop Strength and COF etc…Even the packing material used for Packing Finished Products is subject to Quality Checks.
